Sync-
interactive piano light display
Sync is an interactive light display that varies based on what is played on a piano. The goal was to make an exciting and new way to visualize music that can be a visual representation of an audible art form. Alongside four other group members, we made different environments that reacted to different variables of music. Variables used were volume, frequency and pitch, specific notes being hit, how fast the piano was being played, etc. A user interface was also created so that the user could change environment variables themselves like the intensity of the effect, color, and blending multiple environments together. All of the environments and the interface were created in touchdesigner.
