Ambicare.

AmbiCare is a project developed for an interactive media studio to help establish better communication between caregivers and elderly adults. Market research, user research, and creative research were done before diving into branding, logo design, and prototyping. We designed prototypes for an Apple watch, computer, and tablet. I created the branding and brand book, logo design, and watch design and prototyping, as well as creative research.

The Problem: 

A lack of connection between family and caregivers to their elderly loved ones. Families cant easily monitor and help their loved ones' health status by being up to date on real-time situations.

The Goal:

The goal is to easily connect and alert chosen people of the habits and real-time health conditions of their loved ones. We wanted a system that would keep track of and alarm concerning patterns such as irregular heartbeat, vitals, and daily patterns. We wanted to make technology as simple as possible for the elder, requiring only a smartwatch that could report to the interface of the caregivers' computer or mobile device. We made sure that the user interface would be easy to read and ADA accessible taking into account potential poor vision. The watch interface and experience were made as simplistic and understandable as possible.
