Jordy Searcy is an established singer-songwriter based in San Diego, California. I created merchandise designs for two of his national tours. Then I created a hat design to sell to his audience understanding his demographic and his goals. He wanted to make a hat that he could sell year round and also include some sentimental features about his wife, so I used an emblem of a sailboat that is in his guitar, gifted to him by his wife and her family (she also really loves sailboats, they got engaged on one) and created a simple nautical design.
